Session One (Fri. June 25, 1:30-2:45 p.m.)
Led by Michael McCullar
The “present-future” sense of the Sunday School and Small Groups examines the current state of Bible teaching ministries and what the future needs to look like. Emphasis will be on looking towards the future with energy and vision.
Session Two (Fri. June 25, 3:00-4:15 p.m.)
Led by Bo Prosser
The teaching/learning environment will be discussed. Emphasis will be on ways to grab the brain of each learner in the room and connect them to the lesson material. We’ll answer the age old question, “How do we get people to prepare for Sunday morning?”
Session Three (Sat. June 26, 9:15-10:30 a.m.)
Led by Michael McCullar
We will examine SS/SG ministries from the “parking lot to the pew”! We must exist more for those we haven’t yet reached than we do for ourselves. Emphasis will be given to outreach, retention, and hospitality.
Session Four (Sat. June 26, 10:45-noon)
Led by Michael McCullar and Bo Prosser
An interactive discussion and dialogue on what the Sunday School and Small Group ministries need to thrive in your setting. We’ll look at implementation, marketing, organization, and administration.
