Traveling to Tampa
By plane
Only 9 miles from the Tampa Convention Center, site of the CBF Assembly, is
Tampa International Airport (TPA). This is the most convenient airport for you to arrive/depart. From this airport, you can rent a car, take a taxi (fare approximately $20-22 one-way),
ride a shuttle, or use the
express public bus for $2.75 (take the Marion St. at Washington St. exit and walk 0.4 miles to the Convention Center).
Other regional airports include:
• St. Petersburg/Clearwater (PIE) - Approximately 30 minutes from Tampa Convention Center
• Sarasota (SRQ) - Approximately 1 hour from Tampa Convention Center
• Orlando (MCO) - Approximately 90 minutes from Tampa Convention Center
By car
The Tampa Convention Center is located at 333 South Franklin Street, Tampa, FL. The main interstates through the Tampa area are I-75, I-275 and I-4. Use the map to the right to get directions, or access directions from the
Convention Center's web site.
By train
The
Amtrak train station in Tampa is about a mile and a half from the Tampa Convention Center. The station is located at 601 North Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602.
Transportation around Tampa
If your travel plans include driving to Tampa or renting a car in Tampa, please check with your hotel for parking fees. Parking is also available at the Convention Center.
