About Current
PURPOSE: Current is a network of young Baptist leaders.
MISSION: Current exists to connect young leaders and to support the mission and vision of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
VISION: Current envisions active participation of young leaders in the life and ministry of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
OBJECTIVE: Current accomplishes its mission through networking opportunities such as an annual retreat, mission projects and presence at the CBF General Assembly.
Service in September
Every fall, Current facilitates
Service in September, a month of mission projects across the country.
Formerly known as Eleven-on-11, the missions event began as an effort to do something constructive to remember Sept. 11, 2001 – a day which is forever marked by destruction. The project has grown and become a way for Baptists of all ages to make a difference in their communities and recognize the Sept. 11 anniversary.
