This year Current is partnering with CBF's congregational formation initiative to host the ChurchWorks Conference, a new and exciting event featuring opportunities for networking, learning, rest and fellowship. Make plans to attend Feb. 22-25 in Nashville, Tenn.
About Current
PURPOSE: Current is a network of young Baptist leaders.
MISSION: Current exists to connect young leaders and to support the mission and vision of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
VISION: Current envisions active participation of young leaders in the life and ministry of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
OBJECTIVE: Current accomplishes its mission through networking opportunities such as an annual retreat, mission projects and presence at the CBF General Assembly.
Eleven-on-11
Every fall, Current facilitates Eleven-on-11, a day of service.
Eleven-on-11 began as an effort to do something constructive to remember Sept. 11, 2001 – a day which is forever marked by destruction. The project has grown and become a way for Baptists of all ages to make a difference in their communities and recognize the Sept. 11 anniversary.
