CBF Global Missions Partners
CBF Global Missions strives to maintain healthy mutually beneficial partnerships. Through the years these partners have ranged from formal multi-year partnerships, to brief project-based relationships.
Currently, Global Missions categorizes these partners within three basic types: Ministry Networks, Organizational Partners, and Memorandums of Understanding-(MOUs).
Global Missions Ministry Networks are formed around Communities of Missional Practice. Churches and individuals seek out specific types of mission work. Networks might consist of individuals, churches, partner schools, NPO's, businesses, etc. Through these efforts knowledge and ministry are enhanced. Examples of these networks include Karen Refugee Ministry, Congo Ministry, Croatia Ministry, Liberia Ministry, just to name a few.
CBF Organizational Partners fall into one of the three models: project partners, initiative partners, and strategic partners. Set parameters determine the nature of these relationships. Global Missions continues to maintain formal organizational partnerships with KidsHope USA, International Ministry of South Carolina , Samaritan Ministry, European Baptist Federation, Habitat for Humanity, Micah Challenge, Mid American Indian Fellowships/CBF Missouri, MX(Mission Exchange) , Thailand Baptist Missionary Fellowship, Rebuilding Together, Inc. , and Wycliffe Bible Translators. If your organization would like to explore these partnering opportunities, please review the CBF Partnering Process.
Global Missions' Memorandums of Understanding are a more informal way for the Movement to connect through engagement opportunities. These collaborative ventures are non-monetary in nature but represent a earnest desire to join hands in ministry for a specified period of time. These collaborative partnerships are most often defined & centered around a jointly signed MOU. Global Missions is currently ministering alongside Global Women, Operation Inasmuch, Baptist Press of Korea, and Ghana Baptist Convention, just to name a few.
