About the Offering for Global Missions
The CBF Offering for Global Missions goes to field personnel salaries, benefits and ministry expenses. This Offering is the PRIMARY way CBF field personnel are funded, making your gifts an essential part of spreading the Gospel and meeting physical needs in the world. 

This year’s Offering goal is $6.1 million, and you are a vital part of reaching that goal and keeping field personnel in ministry. There are two major ways to help - by giving to the Offering and by enouraging others in your church to give to the Offering.


How you can encourage your church to give
CBF offers many free resources to promote the Offering. Each year, CBF tells its missions story through an international and a North American focus. These compelling stories of meeting human need and sharing the gospel show how CBF uses the Offering to be the presence of Christ.

International Focus:
Sichuan Province, China

For the more than 200,000 believers and more than 700 churches in Sichuan province, there are only 200 seminary-trained leaders. Churches are growing much faster than leaders are being trained.

Cooperative Baptist Fellowship field personnel Bill and Michelle Cayard come alongside these Christian leaders, empowering them with education, encouragement and resources to continue sharing the Gospel and growing churches.

North American Focus:
Helena-West Helena, Ark.


The soil in the Mississippi Delta is rich; most of the people living there are not. In fact, Phillips County, Ark., is one of the poorest in the United States. And that’s why Cooperative Baptist Fellowship field personnel Ben and Leonora Newell are there. 

For years they’ve come alongside the community – doing with and not for. It’s part of sharing the gospel not only with words but with hands and feet.
