More than 500 CBF churches have listened!

Join the churches of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in listening to the Bible in 2010. In partnership with the audio Bible ministry, Faith Comes By Hearing, the Fellowship has embarked on a historic and unique initiative to enlist all partnering congregations in a Bible listening program in 2010.

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is offering a FREE MP3 New Testament on disc to every man, woman and child in a Fellowship church who agrees to engage in listening to God’s Word. The Fellowship is asking churches to designate a 40-day period during 2010 to participate in this transformational ministry. Many churches participated during Lent, but your church can participate at any time during the year. This program is carried out in partnership with Faith Comes By Hearing thanks to a generous grant from a CBF-supportive foundation.

Why are we doing this?

As Baptists, we claim to be people of the “Book.” But, if we are honest with ourselves, we don’t spend enough time with the Bible to let it meaningfully impact our lives. The Fellowship is engaging in this project so that together, we will be more deeply formed in Christ likeness and more committed to our mission of redemption in the world.

CBF is partnering with Faith Comes By Hearing because we have a shared calling to reach the world. Our prayer is that you will help us by supporting audio Bible program for people groups among whom CBF field personnel work. They may never hear the gospel unless it’s given to them in an audio form.
